Stephanie is an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting children and families through a warm, engaging and family-centred approach. She is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where children are encouraged to build confidence, independence and everyday skills.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and began her career in paediatric clinics in the Philippines and, since moving to Australia in 2023, has continued working with paediatric caseloads in community-based and clinic settings.
Stephanie works with children and adolescents aged 0 – 18, and in some cases supports young adults up to 30 years. She has a particular interest in supporting children with autism, ADHD, developmental delay, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, motor challenges and psychosocial difficulties. Her areas of focus include early childhood intervention, sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor development, school readiness, self-care, executive functioning and community participation.
Stephanie was drawn to occupational therapy because of the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. She values building strong relationships with children and caregivers and enjoys celebrating each child’s progress, whether it is a small step forward or a significant milestone.
In sessions, Stephanie enjoys making therapy fun, engaging and child-led. She often incorporates sensory play, creative activities and hands-on experiences such as bubbles, Play-Doh, sand and painting to support participation and skill development. She is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming space where every child and family feels supported throughout their therapy journey.
