Helen is a dedicated occupational therapist with a passion for supporting children with developmental delays and disabilities to thrive in everyday life. She takes a strengths-based, family-centred approach, working collaboratively to build children’s confidence and promote meaningful participation at home, school, and in the community.
Originally from Ireland, Helen has experience working with children aged 0–18 with a wide range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, physical and intellectual disabilities, and developmental delays. Her practice spans individual therapy, parent coaching, and group programs focused on sensory and emotional regulation, motor skill development, and daily living skills.
Helen’s clinical interests include early childhood intervention, school readiness, self-care independence, and sensory and emotional regulation. She works closely with families, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic, consistent support across settings.
Helen chose occupational therapy to help children and families engage in the activities that matter most. For her, the most rewarding part of the role is seeing a child’s confidence grow and empowering families to carry progress into everyday life.
In the clinic, Helen loves using LEGO and building blocks to support fine motor development, planning, and flexible thinking, all while having fun.
She is committed to inclusive, evidence-based practice that celebrates each child’s strengths and supports their unique development journey.
