Catherine is an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting families and empowering children to reach their full potential. She is committed to creating a warm and supportive environment where children feel encouraged as they grow and develop new skills.
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Australian Catholic University. Throughout her university training, she gained experience across hospital, private and community–based settings, working with individuals across the lifespan from young children to older adults. She also brings extensive customer service and support experience, which strengthens her collaborative and family–centred approach.
She supports children across a broad range of areas and values working closely with families to identify meaningful and individualised goals. Catherine chose occupational therapy after witnessing firsthand the positive impact Occupational Therapists can have on children and their families. This lived experience inspired her to pursue a career where she could provide the same support and guidance to others.
She enjoys seeing children grow in confidence as they develop new skills and values the opportunity to walk alongside families as part of that journey.
In the clinic, Catherine enjoys incorporating play into sessions and seeing how each child engages with different activities. Connect 4 is one of her favourite games to use to encourage interaction, turn–taking and skill development. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, supportive care that recognises each child’s strengths and potential.
