Our areas of focus

We support children to build the language skills they rely on every day, including vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and both expressive and receptive communication.
Access to communication matters for everyone. Our speech pathologists guide children and young people to explore and use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) when it may help them express themselves, collaborating closely with families to assess, trial and set up AAC systems that reflect each child’s strengths, preferences and communication needs.
We help children build the literacy skills that underpin learning and daily life, from reading and writing to spelling and phonological awareness. Where it makes sense, we may also join forces with your child’s school team so their literacy development is supported both at home and in the classroom.
Through our speech pathology support, children may develop the clear, confident speech that helps them be understood in day-to-day conversations.
Children learn best through play, which is why our sessions are built around play-based activities shaped by your child’s interests and strengths. The result is a fun, engaging and low-pressure space where speech, language, communication and confidence may grow through meaningful interactions.
We support children who stutter to communicate with confidence using evidence-based, strengths-focused approaches. We work with your child and family to develop strategies that support comfortable, confident communication in everyday life.
We support children to build meaningful connections in the places that matter most to them and their families, including at home, school and in the community. Using strengths-based, neuroaffirming approaches, we help children develop the skills and confidence to understand and express their emotions, advocate for their needs, and build positive relationships in ways that work for them.

Your speech therapy questions, answered

At its core, speech pathology involves the assessment, diagnosis and management of speech, language, voice and fluency disorders, along with their possible prevention.
Supporting children to communicate in ways that work for them sits at the heart of speech pathology. Speech pathologists assess and deliver evidence-based support across speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, literacy, feeding and swallowing, giving children the confidence to join in everyday life.
Yes, we do. From infancy through to 18 years, we support children at every stage, including toddlers developing their early communication, language and speech skills. If your toddler’s communication is something you’re wondering about, early intervention may help.
There are many reasons a child might need support with communication and language, and we recognise every one of them. Our speech pathologists work with a wide range of disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, global developmental delay, ADHD, social-emotional difficulties, trauma, behavioural differences and other neurological disorders, as well as supporting children with articulation and stuttering difficulties.
Yes. Strong communication skills are foundational to learning. When appropriate, our speech-language pathologists work closely with teachers and educators to support your child’s progress both in and out of the classroom.
No two children are the same. Our dedicated team keeps a close eye on your child’s progress and adjusts their therapy plan together with you as they grow, so the support they receive may always match where they are at that moment.
