The Craft and Connect Club offers a supportive, creative space where connection grows through hands-on making. Each session, participants explore social communication, emotional awareness, and confidence-building skills through fun, engaging craft and creative projects. Guided by an occupational therapist, the group uses activities like collaborative art, design challenges, and creative problem-solving tasks to encourage teamwork, flexible thinking, and positive peer interactions.
This group is designed to be neuroaffirming, strengths-focused, and inclusive, celebrating each girl’s unique communication style and creativity. By blending craft with evidence-based social skill development, we create a safe, playful environment where participants can practise conversation, perspective-taking, and self-expression while forming meaningful friendships.
